Kalpa is an AI life coaching app built to help you live with more intention. This privacy policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.## What we collectData you provide:
- Intentions you set across the four life dimensions
- Personality quiz responses (Big Five, GRIT, ADD Spectrum, Values)
- Daily check-in mood and notes
- Dream diary entries
- Chat messages with your AI coachData we generate automatically:
- A random anonymous ID created on first launch (no name or email attached)
- Usage count (number of coaching sessions used)
- Date your trial startedWhat we do NOT collect:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your location
- Any device identifiers
- Any data from other apps## How we use your data- AI coaching — your intentions, personality profile, and check-in history are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate coaching responses. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to this data.
- Trial management — your anonymous ID and usage count are stored in our database to manage your 7 day free trial.
- Subscription — if you subscribe, RevenueCat processes your payment. We never see your payment details. RevenueCat's privacy policy applies.## Where your data is stored- Your intentions, quiz results, and diary entries are stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. We do not have access to this data.

- Backend data (anonymous ID + usage count) is retained for up to 2 years of inactivity## Your rightsYou may request deletion of your backend data at any time by emailing us. Since your data is tied to an anonymous ID and not your identity, we cannot identify your data from your name alone — include your anonymous user ID if possible (found in app settings).## ChildrenKalpa is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.## Changes to this policyWe may update this policy from time to time.
